Remnant Outreach Ministries, Inc. began as an Outreach Ministry of the Spirit of the Living God Ministries. After many hours of laboring, the vision began to be manifested… to reach out for lost souls. God called Pastor Walters to lead an initial outreach to feed 5000 souls, both physically and spiritually. Little did we know that God was preparing us to establish a great outreach ministry that would not only reach 5000 souls, but would reach millions.
In October 1995, the ministry began as a Friday Night Bible Study for young adults. With Pastor A. James Snead’s (Spirit of the Living God Ministries) blessing, the ministry began to step out on faith as God ordered our steps.
On September 2, 1996 God blessed us to lease a church building. We had our first official meeting at that facility on September 12,1996. At this meeting, Pastor assigned areas of responsibility to the members, commenting “Here is where the rubber meets the road.” Dedication services were held October 13, 1996. Pastor A. James Snead was the guest speaker for the morning worship service. Pastor Billy J. Gore, Sr. was the guest speaker for the afternoon worship service. The Ministry held its first service at our current location on June 4, 2000. Dedication services were held June 22nd thru June 24th.
ROM has continued to experience great spiritual growth. During our first four years, the ministry fed in excess of 6,500 souls with natural food and thousands with spiritual food (The Word) … leading many to Christ.
Our church membership continues to grow. Remnant Ministries, Inc. has three (3) affiliate ministries under its umbrella….Spirit of the Living God Ministries, Restoration and Deliverance Ministries, and The Spirit of Elijah Prayer Ministry, all of Charlotte, NC. .
We thank God for all that He has done and all that He is going to do with this Ministry.
We know that God is raising up an army and He is teaching us how to fight!
